Course description
An introduction to the history of Buckingham Palace from its purchase by King George III to its conversion by King George IV into the palace we see today. Together with the history of the Queen’s Gallery (now the Kings Gallery) and its conversion from a bombed out chapel to the gallery open to the public displaying treasures from the Royal Collection Trust.
