Course overview
Course description
You loved the writing but now it’s time for shaping. Believe it or not - this is an enjoyable part of the creative process so dedicate time to it by joining this course. It will stimulate fresh thinking by showing you mentor texts from novels, novellas-in-flash, non-chronological works, dual narratives and linked short stories. It will give you the time to talk through your challenges in a supportive group, get you writing and re-energising. The tutor will provide craft notes about common pitfalls in early drafts at the macro level. You’ll leave with insights and have experimented boldly with new ways to organise your work. Most of all, you’ll feel energised from saying yes to working on your darlings and be bursting with satisfaction at new ways forward.
