Course description
You know how sometimes when you read a headline your mind is already guessing and filling in the blanks? Well, this is the course to tickle your imagination, write wild and free from just a headline! This is an excellent writing practice as you’re coming fresh each time, pull new situations and characters from your mind in the dedicated writing time. What’s more, you’ll get to see where others took the story and feedback in real time when you share in pairs or threes. The tutor provides craft notes from published mentor texts to recap effective writing techniques, including stories inspired by the news. You’ll get written feedback from the tutor on one submitted piece. This is a relaxed and stimulating course for those wanting to energise their writing practice.
