Craft: Printing Without a Press

This course will show you that, even if you have no previous knowledge of printing and no printing press, that it is still possible to print images onto both paper and fabric using a variety of items and techniques. These will include printing with natural as well as found objects, making and using printing blocks from craft foam and how to use stencils, both commercial ones and ones you make yourself. You will learn how to choose the right paint to print onto paper and fabric. You will have an understanding of different printing terms such as Intaglio and Relief. Discover what Tetra Pak and how to use it for printing. Help and guidance will be given throughout the course by our experienced tutor who will demonstrate the techniques you will learn.
