The WEA is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for our 2023 WEA Awards.
Simon Parkinson, CEO and General Secretary of the WEA said: "This year’s awards fall in our anniversary year and are an essential part of our 120th Birthday celebrations. We have so many achievements to celebrate over the last 120 years, and those of our learners and the impact of our tutors are some of the most important.
"We know that there are endless inspiring stories in WEA classrooms all over England and Scotland which we are very proud of, but I need your help to identify our winners! I would be grateful if you could take a moment to help us celebrate the achievements, and determination of our learners and the skill and dedication of our amazing tutors.
"Please do let us know if you have someone in mind. That person may even be you! If you’ve achieved something that you’re proud of, or you overcame something you found difficult this year, please put yourself forward! Not all achievements are seen by others, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth celebrating.
