This course will help you improve your English for daily life, work, and learning.
You will practice English and Numeracy through reading, writing, listening and speaking based on real-life situations. We will focus on helping you use English in everyday conversations, at work, and when studying. You will also improve your grammar and vocabualry. Numeracy will help you with shopping, budgetting, telling the time, travelling and to become more confident using numbers in English. You will have access to our online learning platform, Canvas, to help you practice outside the classroom. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using English and numbers in many situations. This course will include a Core Skills Numeracy Unit at Level 2. Learners have be at ESOL level elementary (level 2). If you do not know your level we can provide an ESOL level test. Learners must be over 16, living, working, studying or volunteering in Glasgow, and NOT have a qualification in maths at Nat 5 or equivalent.
This course is in person in Glasgow city centre, starting January 2025 for 10 weeks.
