Working in partnership with Norwich Job Centre and Seetec Pluss, the WEA offers the Introduction to Customer Service Course to equip participants with essential customer service skills for employment. Learners will interact with Aviva, participate in mock interviews, and have the opportunity for a real interview with Aviva. The course provides a comprehensive overview of customer service, helps identify transferable skills, and prepares participants for successful job interviews. There will be a Meet and Greet session on 4th September from 9.30am - 11.30am. This is an opportunity to meet your tutor and each other.

Music Making: African Drumming for All

Whether you are a seasoned drummer or just wanting to get started, this practical class in African drumming will inspire you with music and culture. We will be using the Djembe Drums which are a percussion instrument originating from West Africa. Drums will be provided for your use during the class. Our experienced tutor will guide you to play the Djembe drum as part of a group of friendly, like-minded people. You will learn to use the primary notes, referred to as ‘bass,’ ‘tone’ and ‘slap’ to create different sounds. No experience needed, just the willingness to have a go and enjoy the music.
