Course description
By the end of this course learners will achieve the following learning outcomes:
1. Understanding UK Culture and Traditions:
Learners will be able to identify key cultural practices, such as greetings, manners, and public behavior, that are commonly observed in the UK.
2. Navigating Everyday Situations:
Learners will develop the ability to use appropriate language to manage common interactions, such as shopping, asking for directions, and using public transport.
3. Workplace Communication Skills:
Learners will improve their ability to understand and respond to basic workplace instructions, interact with colleagues, and discuss roles and responsibilities in a UK-based work environment.
4. Understanding Local Services and Systems:
Learners will be able to describe how to access essential services, such as healthcare, housing, and banking, and understand the basic requirements for using them.
5. Writing for Everyday and Professional Use:
Learners will practice writing simple formal and informal texts, such as filling out forms, writing emails to employers, and basic personal or business letters.
