The course is idea for newcomers and those those seeking to deepen their understanding of UK systems.Your tutor will focus on how to access local community support services and also give you information about how your basic employment rights. You will learn how to manage your daily life and services in your local area and how to understand working life in the United Kingdom.

Course description

On this course we will introduce you to key local services and how to access public services like the NHS. Topics you will cover in the session are employment rights and responsibilities, including the right to work, and how to register for a national insurance number. We will also look at the National Minimum Wage and Living Wage, legal working hours, and your protection against unfair treatment or discrimination.

We hope this course will help you to confidently adapt to life in the UK.
