Course overview

This tailored short course is aimed at Pre-Intermediate (B1) learners seeking to widen their vocabulary and develop a better understanding of English grammar through general conversation and speaking activities . Lessons will be delivered face-to-face using a range of teacher led and freer interactive activities to build learners’ understanding and confidence in using the English language.

Course description

A General English course for continuing learners consisting of 4 hours per week for 6 weeks. It will review past learning and give them an opportunity to practise their speaking skills and widen their vocabulary. An accredited Entry 3 Speaking & Listening course could then be offered in September.

*There is a small ready-made cohort of learners who are interested in continuing classes. The partner has also enquired about classes for the next academic year and is keen to continue working with the Course Manager, Jane Curtis, and tutor.
