Course description
This course is specifically designed to help ESOL Entry 1 students enhance their fluency in English reading. Throughout the course, students will engage with various simple texts such as short stories, articles, and everyday materials like menus and signs. The focus will be on developing reading speed, accuracy, pronunciation, and comprehension. Interactive activities such as reading aloud, participating in group discussions, and completing comprehension exercises will provide opportunities for practice and improvement. Students will learn to recognise common vocabulary, understand basic sentence structures, and grasp the main ideas of texts. The course aims to build confidence in reading English and improve overall language skills.
