Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.

Course description
Step into the enchanting world of jewellery design with our Beginner's Beaded Jewellery Making Workshop. This 3-hour session is tailored for those new to the craft, offering a comprehensive introduction to the art of beading. Whether you're looking to start a new hobby or create unique gifts, this workshop provides the perfect foundation. We begin with an overview of essential beading tools and equipment. You'll learn about different types of beads, wires, and findings, as well as how to select the right tools for various projects. Our experienced tutor will demonstrate the proper use of pliers, wire cutters, and bead boards, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident handling these tools. The workshop then focuses on key beading techniques. You'll practice creating secure wire loops, attaching clasps, and arranging beads in aesthetically pleasing patterns. Through step-by-step guidance, you'll design and construct your own pair of earrings and/or a pendant. This hands-on experience will teach you the fundamentals of jewellery assembly, from planning your design to finishing your piece with professional touches. By the end of the class, you'll have completed your own beautiful jewellery items, ready to wear or gift.
