Life in the UK Exam Preparation (Linkbridge)

This course is designed to help prepare foreign learners for their Life in the UK test. The course is a first step in teaching learners about what to be expected on the test and what they need to revise for when they plan to take the test later on. The course has a minimum ESOL requirement to join the course as learners need to be of a high intermediate level in order to be able to understand and join in the course fully. The course will introduce you to all aspects of the UK in order to try and pass the UK Citizenship test. You will learn and discuss different laws, UK history, culture and social aspects of what is expected of typical UK citizens in everyday life. Our course is friendly and supportive and run by a fully qualified tutor. Any learners who attended the introduction course can continue on the course and any new learners can enrol also.

Craft: Beginners Mosaics

This Mosaic course is designed to introduce you to new craft skills and help you develop a new craft, whilst designing different images and relaxing, enjoying, being creative with others. Giving you also a chance to make your own plaque, mosaic piece for the table or as a wall hanging. Design and develop your own piece using a verity of broken tiles of different colourful ceramic tiles and upcycling old crockery as well as a number of different other items, such as beads and pebbles. Making your own fun decorative mosaic piece, either for your own home or as a present for someone special, lots of brightly coloured broken ceramic tiles and crockery will be used. Come and join other like-minded people and create a masterpiece!
