Get Ready for Level 2 functional skills English isn’t like learning English at school. This is an English course for adults created by adults. Develop practical English skills by learning language in context. Gain confidence writing a range of texts and boost your reading skills. This online, adult English course teaches you skills to support you in learning and work situations and is designed to prepare you to progress onto our accredited Level 2 Functional Skills English course. English functional skills courses are accepted as a GCSE equivalent for many jobs and courses. At level 2, it can help you do an apprenticeship, higher education course, or go to University. Set yourself up for success at entry 3 functional skills in maths. This get ready course helps you prepare to tackle entry 3 maths with confidence. The essential maths skills you’ll learn will help you get your qualification and serve you in everyday life. Get ready courses help you learn maths at your own pace. The idea of this course is to give you extra study time to acquire the knowledge you’ll need for entry 3 maths. This is a preparatory maths course for people who are looking to progress to entry 3 functional skills courses. It is a non-accredited adult maths course.

This course for digital skills is suitable for anyone who wants to learn or refresh their digital skills, from beginners to lower level (English Pre-entry to Entry 1 levels). You will learn digital related vocabulary and familiarise yourself with Zoom and/or Teams features to assist with online learning. On this course you will get to grips with keyboard functions and using Microsoft. Additionally, you will understand online safety and how to register with the NHS app.

This is the fifth course of six, aimed at elementary (A1/A2) level learners. This five-week course is for those whose first language is NOT English and will practice all four major skills in each session to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Although this is a low-level English course, learners should be able to recognise sounds of the English letters and read simple lines of text prior to joining so that they would not struggle. Lessons will be delivered face-to-face using a range of teacher led and freer interactive activities to build learners’ proficiency and confidence in the English language.

This training equips you with essential skills for managing and organizing your data efficiently, simplifying your personal or professional budgeting tasks. By the end of the course, you'll be proficient in handling digital files and creating functional spreadsheets for various needs.
