Art Appreciation: Sculptures and 3D Art

During this friendly and creative course, you will continue to develop and collect your artistic ideas in sketchbook form. You will increase your skills in drawing, painting, collage, note taking and sticking, in reference to inspirational material. You will also continue to generate your own personal visual language as a starting point to generate larger work.
This inspiring course will encourage you to become more experimental with colour. You will make a colour wheel and paint swatches in your sketchbook, as well as looking at different artists, using a variety of colour palettes.

Art Practical: Learn to Draw Animals
We will learn how to draw chosen animal portraits (students can get to draw their own pets or those of friends) in pencil, charcoal with white pastel for highlights, pen and coloured pencils and pastels. Advice will be given on materials, but please have a pencil, eraser and cartridge paper ready for the first session.
