Learn at your own pace in your own time, with or without the support of our Numeracy Champions and improve your number skills at home, work and in daily life. You use numbers every day, from working your household budget to helping the kids with their homework. Every time you do the weekly shop or trying to keep up with the cost-of-living crisis, you’re using maths skills. Multiply Online is your gateway to mathematical empowerment for financial literacy. Delve into essential topics including budgeting, understanding topics used for functional skills, school curriculum math support, credit comprehension, and maximizing financial resources. Key Topics: Budgeting money effectively Preparing for functional skills qualification(FS) Supporting children's math education Understanding credit and finance Optimising financial decisions Benefits: Practical math skills for everyday life Confidence in managing personal finances Empowerment to make informed financial decisions Enhanced support for children's math learning Increase your confidence with maths. Format: Engaging online modules, interactive exercises, and real-life application scenarios. Duration: Self-paced for flexibility! The course material is available online and accessible via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Additionally, there will be weekly face-to-face sessions to provide support for accessing the learning. Your numeracy coach will also maintain regular contact to support you throughout the course.

This course is put on in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council and Job Centre Plus. Are you unemployed and looking for work but experiencing mental health issues? These might include, but not be limited to, stress, anxiety, depression, panic attacks or post traumatic stress. This free support programme will help you to cope better with these challenges and discover techniques and strategies to use in every day life. There is an information and registration day on Monday, 15 April 10am-12pm. Please bring photo ID. This course is funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority

This course is put on in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council and the DWP. It is suitable with learners who wish to improve their English to get ready to apply for a job, who are unemployed and looking for work and who also have English as a second language. Learners with English as a second language, who are looking for work and receiving benefits and aged 19 plus are eligible. If you are in receipt of work related benefits, speak to your work coach at the Job Centre and mention JCP Wolverhampton Hub. Subject to eligibility, travel expenses can be paid. This practical course aims to help you to establish a coaching relationship, initiate productive coaching conversations and to challenge people to identify goals and grow professionally and personally. You would need to coach a colleague or someone else who wishes to be coached, as this is a practical course covering key skills including: questioning, goal-setting collaboratively and encouraging personal and professional growth.
