Our experienced tutor will guide you through the basics of lipreading and show you how to practice your lipreading skills in everyday life. This short course will support you to improve your mental well-being through guided relaxation practice. You will develop your ability to calm the mind by learning to physically relax your body using body scanning and mindful movement. You will learn to calm the mind through breathing practices and mindfulness practice. You will learn to encourage deep rest of mind and body through guided Yoga Nidra practice and soothing visualisation.

Develop your speaking and listening skills with this non-accredited course. This English course is for speakers of other languages and is a face-to-face class in a local centre. This ESOL Speaking & Listening course helps people who want to inprove their basic English. It will help you gain confidence to communicate in everyday situations and be part of your community. What we will cover: - Asking for and giving basic personal details/information, asking for help, talking about likes, dislikes and feelings, and following instructions.

Create Drawings, Paintings and Sketchbooks on paper and Fabric. Explore how to use Wax as a resist. The technique of Batik will be explored using paint, ink and dyes.

This course gives students the opportunity to explore and experiment with different acrylic painting approaches and techniques in landscape painting. The aim is to give students the skills and confidence to make individual and original paintings.

This beginner-level driving theory course is designed specifically for English language learners. It focuses on the essential knowledge and understanding required to pass the UK driving theory test. The course covers core topics like road signs, rules of the road, hazard perception, and vehicle safety. Through clear explanations, practical examples, and engaging activities, learners will develop the language skills and subject knowledge needed to succeed in their driving theory exam.

This course follows on from the basic sewing essential class ran over the Autumn we welcome new students as well as returning students as there is all way new skills, sewing tips and techniques to learn.
