This comprehensive course integrates four key areas to enhance your learning experience: using Canvas for online education, developing essential study skills whilst preparing you to achieve ESOL Speaking and Listening Entry Level 3. Ideal for learners looking to improve their digital literacy, English language proficiency, and study techniques, this course provides a holistic approach to academic and personal growth. The course is delivered by an experienced ESOL tutor that will support you through your learning journey. By the end of this course, you will have a solid grasp of digital learning tools, enhanced English language skills, effective study habits, and a valuable ESOL qualification.

This basic course will introduce learners to the world at work and the language needed to enter it. The course has been developed in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council which refers learners to this and other programmes hosted at the Old School, which is a community centre run by Blakenhall Action Community Forum. This course is particularly suitable for students are unemployed and have been referred by Job Centres to improve their spoken and written English and thereby get closer to getting a job.

Develop your speaking and listening skills with this non-accredited course. This English course is for speakers of other languages and is a face-to-face class in a local centre. This ESOL Speaking & Listening course helps people who want to inprove their basic English. It will help you gain confidence to communicate in everyday situations and be part of your community. What we will cover: - Asking for and giving basic personal details/information, asking for help, talking about likes, dislikes and feelings, and following instructions.

This Advanced level course will build on skills gained in the Pre Entry and Intermediate courses that you may have studied previously, or you may be assessed by the tutor as ready for this course straight away. This digital skills training also teaches you how to shop online securely. You’ll understand online safety and data storage. Digital courses online offer you learning for life and work. Would you like to learn about art and at the same time practice your French? This course is for you! During ten weeks, we will discuss a series of topics related to art and culture. The course aims to enrich your knowledge of art history, develop your French vocabulary, and boost your confidence when speaking French. To follow this course, it is desirable to have a good level in French (probably upper intermediate, or B2 and above). The group will be small and the atmosphere relaxed and tolerant. By studying their stories, learners will gain a deeper understanding of key historical events, social movements, and cultural shifts that have shaped the fabric of Britain.

London is one of the most diverse cities in the world. Many distinct places lie within its boundaries. There are many unusual corners, unexpected history, remarkable buildings, and fascinating characters which illustrate the city’s development both socially and culturally. These six autumn walks will reveal contrasting parts of London and show how Londoners lived and worked, how they were entertained, how they travelled, how they constructed bridges. We shall meet novelists, con men, rock stars, minor royalty, politicians, a whole panoply of London life. In addition, these walks for two hours long will bring the benefit of healthy exercise!

This course will teach you about safeguarding within a learning environment including why safeguarding is so important, signs that you might look out for and how to report a safeguarding concern to the relevant person.
