Step Into Care is a fully funded pre-employment programme that prepares you for a future in Adult Social Care. Delivered online by WEA, this engaging course covers key elements of the Adult Social Care Pathway, which all social care workers must undertake, giving you the knowledge and confidence to succeed in the sector.
You’ll build a strong CV, sharpen your interview skills, and receive personalised support from our Step Into Care work coach, who will help match you with a local work placement based on your interests and location. After completing your training, you’ll take part in a voluntary placement designed as a working interview—giving you real-world experience and a chance to impress. If it’s a good fit, your placement could lead directly to a paid role with your employer. Join a supportive learning community, grow your skills, and step into a career that truly matters.
