Learn at your own pace in your own time, with or without the support of our Numeracy Champions and improve your number skills at home, work and in daily life. You use numbers every day, from working your household budget to helping the kids with their homework. Every time you do the weekly shop or trying to keep up with the cost-of-living crisis, you’re using maths skills. *Please note you can access this course at a time that suits you as many times as you like! Sessions below are indicative only

Course description

Our free online maths course for adults helps you boost these numeracy skills that you use every day. The online classes are available 24/7, so you can learn at your own pace. If you find something a bit tricky, our friendly numeracy coaches are on-hand to help you through.

Numeracy skills matter. Improving your numeracy skills help you get better paid jobs, improve your wellbeing and help you manage your finances. This course can help you build your confidence in maths and help you overcome any maths anxiety. This course focuses on practical maths, looking at the numbers behind things that you do every day. It won’t be like school, it’s about learning the sums behind the activities you do all the time. It will help you make better choices, from healthy eating to getting a good deal.

Learn in a supportive environment, with friendly numeracy coaches who are skilled in bringing out your potential. As your knowledge and confidence grows on our Multiply programme, you can move onto our accredited functional skills maths qualification. This is the first step towards a new job, further education or just a new, number-confident you.

What financial support is available?

We don't want anything to stand in your way when it comes to bringing Adult learning within reach so if you need anything to support you to achieve your goals then speak to one of our education experts during your enrolment journey. Most of our courses are government funded but if you don't qualify or need.

All of our digital content, teaching and learning activities and assessments are designed to be accessible so if you need any additional support you can discuss this with the education experts during your enrolment journey and we will do all we can to make sure you have optimal access.
