Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you’re not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

Course description
This online Modern Greek course is aimed at learners who have already studied Greek for about a year and can use Greek to get by in a limited range of situations, and who are looking to develop their language skills further and learn more about the Greek people and their culture.
In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, you will have plenty of opportunities to practice your speaking and listening skills through a variety of fun activities, games and roleplays so that you can feel confident to communicate with Greek speakers. Although the emphasis will be on developing your speaking and listening skills, the course will also help you improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and to a lesser extent your writing skills.
Topics include talking about members of your family or friends, jobs and places of work, shopping for various items, and shopping habits. The course is taught by a well-qualified and experienced native speaker with many years’ teaching experience who will help you explore the language and the culture. This course requires the purchase of a book that usually retails at around £50 or significantly less when it goes on offer from time to time.
