Course overview
This course will explore aspects of the work of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt.
Course description
Famed for his use of gold in paintings such as "The Kiss" and his "Woman in Gold", in this course we will explore this decorative side of his work in such paintings and interior schemes for buildings in Vienna.
We will also be looking at the wider range of Klimt's portrait work and extensive landscape and tree paintings.
Fully illustrated with discussion, this course is sure to broaden your artistic horizons and knowledge.
