If you enjoy music, then this course is for you! No experience is needed to take part in this course. This is a class for people with a learning disability.
Join us as we listen and move to the rhythm of the music; or maybe you'd even like to sing along! We will enjoy some old favourites and also enjoy something new. The Reaching Out Programme classes are open to people living in the community that can have their needs met by the class.

Course description
This course is open to anyone who enjoys music. You don’t need any prior experience. You will be free to move to the feel of the music if you want to and there will be a chance to join in with some of the rhythms when the mood takes you! We will be encouraging you to sing along…. Maybe you will remember some words of those familiar songs. If it’s something new, we will help you learn it slowly so that you get to know it easily, then there will be another song for you to enjoy!
We may choose a theme and make up a song together as a group…. This is exciting as we never know what might happen!
Singing and moving can help loosen up your body and help you breathe more deeply, which can boost your mood. Let's enjoy the music together.
