Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.

Course overview
Course description
A period for discussion of the material studied is also included in each session. The course will consist of lectures supported by PowerPoint illustrations. some guidance on father reading and other source of study will be provided.
Topics will include an exploration of the causes and consequences of the 1926 General Strike. An assessment of the governments of Stanley Baldwin and his leadership of the Conservative Party. The causes of the 1931 Economic Crisis and the consequences that this had on British Politics. The Final lecture will be about the rise to power of Hitler in Germany with a focus on the politics of late Weimar Germany 1930-33.
