Course overview

We may be familiar with the images of the 18th Dynasty Pharaoh Tutankhamun, however, this dynasty also provides us with some interesting royal women who we will discuss during this short course, which occurs in the month of International Women’s day. This course is funded by the Education Skills and Funding Agency.

Course description

We will consider the different roles that they may have held, their achievements and related artefacts.  We will also develop a basic understanding of the geography and timeline of Ancient Egypt and where the 18th Dynasty fits in.
