Course description

Get Ready for Entry 2 Reading course will help learners to improve their reading skills at this leave.

1 Obtain information from diffrent texts

2 Recognise the purpose of diffrent texts.

3 Read to understand instructions.

4 Read and understand linking words and adverbials in instructions and directions.

5 Trace and understand the main events of chronological and instructional texts

There are “get ready” courses between each module to prepare you for the next course.

What to expect

This get ready for ESOL course takes around 40 hours to complete. It gives you more opportunities to learn the reading skills required for an entry 2 reading qualification.

Please note that you’ll need an internet connection to study this ESOL course. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.

If you’d like to learn digital skills for online learning, you can also take our Canvas course for ESOL learners.
