We will explore the use of a variety of materials, from pencil, charcoal, coloured chalks, water- based paint as well as collage material in order to create dynamic and personal expressions of this exciting and often challenging subject matter. We will also use different coloured paper as a ground to help with tonal studies. A materials list will be provided prior to the start of the course.

We will be working from photos and videos as well as demonstrations and handouts to inform each lesson.
