This taster session is an excellent opportunity for learners to gauge their readiness for the next level of Functional Skills English and to start building the confidence and skills needed for everyday and academic success. Once you complete this get ready for course you will have the opportunity to join an accredited Entry 2 Functional Skills English course. You will have the opportunity to work towards gaining higher qualifications in English. English functional skills courses are accepted as a GCSE equivalent for many jobs and courses. higher functional skills qualifications can help you do an apprenticeship, a higher education course, or go to university.
