Enjoy your ESOL studies online with this evening ESOL course with a qualified tutor. This course looks at how to use ESOL in your day to day life and in work here in the UK. The course will run for 14 weeks and give you a safe space to practise your speaking, listening, reading and writing to advance your skills and confidence. This course is aimed at people who work during the day and want to upskill in the evenings or use it as a top up for your ESOL classes. This course is part 2 of 2 courses that will concentrate on beginners ESOL skills for learners going into entry 1or entry 2 in September and are wanting to upskill further. The classes will revolve around the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. The class is run by a qualified and experienced tutor who will help you develop, improve and provide feedback throughout the course.

The course has been developed in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council which refers learners to this and other programmes hosted at the Old School, which is a community centre run by Blakenhall Action Community Forum. This course is particularly suitable for students who are unemployed and are looking for work, who may have been referred by Job Centres to improve their spoken and written English and thereby pick up the skills and confidence to get themselves closer to the job market.

This weekly session provides an excellent opportunity to practice speaking, improve your vocabulary, and build confidence in conversational English. By participating in these sessions, you'll be well-prepared to advance into other ESOL courses, further enhancing your language proficiency and opening up new educational and professional opportunities.

The Entry Level Digital Skills for ESOL course is tailored for English language learners who wish to develop basic digital skills. This course covers fundamental computer operations, internet usage, and essential software applications, all while enhancing your English language proficiency. Ideal for beginners, it aims to equip you with the digital literacy needed for everyday tasks, further learning, and employment opportunities. Throughout the course, you will learn how to operate a computer, use the internet safely and effectively, and navigate key software applications such as word processors and email. The course content includes practical activities like creating and saving documents, browsing websites, and understanding basic online communication tools.

Join this engaging course that delves into the captivating history and evolution of idioms, expressions, and accents in (British) English. Explore both newer and older accents while uncovering the origins of everyday idioms and literary expressions. The course will also look at slang and secret languages that have evolved over time. This is course is open to beginners and those with prior knowledge of the subject. Taking place online, over the course of six weeks, with access to presentations and discussions even after each session.

During this creative and inspiring course, you will continue to collect your artistic ideas in sketchbook form. You will be developing your skills in drawing, painting, collage, note taking and sticking in reference to a range of inspirational material. You will continue to generate your own personal visual language as a starting point for larger work. This course will encourage you to consider the many themes, concepts and artists that resonate with you. The Sketchbook is a useful tool for the artist to offload their many artistic ideas and influences and try out new techniques and materials. This can be used in the safe space created in the classroom or wherever you go!

Ready to take your Spanish language skills to the next level? If you have completed a previous beginners course then this is the next step in your journey to fluency. Like to holiday in Spain or Spanish speaking countries or just want a new hobby, then this is the course for you. This is the introductory course which will run for 6 weeks, if you would like to carry on with your classes then the full 12 week course will be following this one. This can be used as a continuing course after the prior beginners course or feel free to join at this stage.
