History: The Anglo-Saxons in the South

A consideration of life and events in Anglo-Saxon Sussex and Hampshire. This course uses contemporary chronicles, art, archaeological, building evidence, place-names and even local legend to build a picture of events from the arrival of the Saxons to the Norman Conquest.
