This course is aimed at those with some experience in sewing but, willing to improve existing skills. The course will cover a range of soft furnishing techniques including pillow and cushion making, zip insertions and mitred corners for curtains.

If actual attendance is not possible, to undertake independent research and hence, enjoy a more active and cultural lifestyle. Lots of different dances with pom poms, tambourines and ribbons too. Join in at your own pace and have lots of fun! In this course, we will be considering the portrayal of migration, the many contexts which lead to authors writing about migration, and how other themes are bound in with this idea. In our discussions together, we will be considering a wide range of texts and genres from across the ages, and working to expand our understanding of such a fundamental experience.
