We will consider the nature of court rule, the development of society and the economy as well as art, literature and philosophy.

This ESOL Literature course is for E2/E3 students who want to improve their English. You will read and talk about different stories, poems, and parts of books. The course will help you understand what you read and learn new words. You will do fun activities, talk in groups, and write about what you read. This will help you get better at reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. The course is designed to make learning enjoyable and to help you feel more confident using English.

All our Care2 courses are completely free for unpaid carers (or those who have previously been carers). You do not need to receive a carer's allowance to qualify. This can make it hard for us to wind down and enjoy the present. But finding these moments of calm is essential for our emotional well-being and mental health. This short course will support you to improve your mental well-being through guided relaxation practice. You will develop your ability to calm the mind by learning to physically relax your body using body scanning and mindful movement. You will learn to calm the mind through breathing practices and mindfulness practice. You will learn to encourage deep rest of mind and body through guided Yoga Nidra practice and soothing visualisation.

It provides the basic skills and knowledge necessary to work in admin, technical, or support roles in a learning environment. You will have the opportunity to personalise your approach to study and learning. Over the course you will find out what works best for you. General study skills are not for a specific subject, they are skills that cover all subject areas. The study skills you will develop at this level will help as you go through each topic on the course. To develop your study skills, you will practise a variety of tasks such as time management, active listening skills, note taking and many more. This will help you become more confident in the way you study. Study skills are not just for this course, they can be used in a variety of ways, for example solving problems in everyday life and managing your time successfully and learning to remain focused on a task. This course will run alongside the main course you are studying and provide you with the tools to successfully complete your studies with confidence.
