This course is designed for you to develop your creative side and use your previous clay hand-building techniques to progress to an intermediate level, plus a chance explore the different decorative styles working with Clay. By the end of the course you should have lots of different pottery pieces and different pottery skills. You will be in a group with others and led by a talented Arts and Crafts tutor. Your work will be taken away and fired in a kiln by the tutor and it will be yours to keep!

This is a FREE 3-week course which is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become proficient in the application of express lashes. Express lashes, also known as cluster lashes or party lashes, are a popular semi-permanent lash enhancement technique that offers people a quick way to achieve fuller, longer-looking lashes. Throughout this course, you will learn the fundamental principles of express lash application, including lash selection, preparation, application techniques, and aftercare. Emphasis will be placed on mastering safe and efficient application methods to ensure peoples satisfaction and retention. This course is open to everyone as it is aimed at a beginners level.

Discover the wonderful world of Google Analytics: This short taster course will introduce you to the basics of Google Analytics including an overview of how to create and implement an account. We will be using data provided on a Google demo account to set up views and filters, read basic reports and set up dashboards. We will discuss goal setting and how the data available through Google Analytics can be used to measure progress. Part of the WEA Art and About Festival 2024! This walk begins in Holborn and moves through the City of London finishing in London Bridge at the last galleried pub of the metropolis, The George Inn. It considers the imprint drinking establishments have left on London and explores the buildings themselves and some of the characters who frequented these establishments. Each participant in the walk will receive a handout with information about each stop they can refer back to in their leisure. We finish with a debrief in the pub! We will meet in front of The Ship Tavern behind Holborn Station at midday. I will have a red folder with me!

If you would like to learn or refresh your knowledge of hand embroidery, these short courses are perfect for you. You can take one or two of the courses or sign up for all three as follow on sessions. During the sessions you can share your stitching and ideas with the rest of the class and receive guidance and support from your tutor.
