This Digital Skills course is for people who want to improve their computer skills. Digital training teaches you skills for learning, life, and work. . Gain practical skills to improve your reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Strengthen your writing skills and learn reading techniques to help you tackle everyday situations at work or while studying. This adult English course helps you develop your language skills through real-life situations. Functional Skills entry 3 is a government-funded accredited English course for adults. Functional Skills qualifications are free if you don't already have a GCSE in English or Maths at grades A*-C, or 4-9. We'll check your level and any previous qualifications before you start. This ensures you are on the correct course.

It will help you gain confidence reading short texts and common words in English. There are also writing and speaking & listening courses at this level. What we’ll cover: - Learn to identify common English words in everyday situations. - Understand signs, symbols and texts you will come across. - Read information about timetables, prices, and schedules. - Understand the purpose of different texts, including adverts, posters, and news articles. - Understand how punctuation is used to help you read more easily.

This Art for ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course is a 4-week watercolour painting course for anyone wanting to learn or improve their painting skills. You will learn how to draw and paint within a group of like-minded people. Guidance and support are offered throughout the course from our talented tutor, to develop your artistic skills. You will also have the opportunity to connect with and support others in a friendly classroom environment and improve your English conversational skills. No previous skills in watercolours are needed to join this group.

This course can prepare you to help members of your family or community to overcome language barriers in their everyday lives. It can also help you decide if you’re interested in pursuing community interpreting jobs.

Develop foundational writing skills with this non-accredited Entry Writing course. This English course is for speakers of other languages and is a face-to-face class in a local centre. This ESOL writing course helps people who are just starting to learn English. It will help you gain confidence writing the alphabet, writing short simple sentences, and common words in English. What we will cover: - Write the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case; write simple sentences using basic punctuation; common English words that are used in everyday situations, complete very simple applications with personal details, and write simple text messages.
