This tailored workshop is designed for DWP customers whose first language is not English, supporting them in creating a clear, professional CV that meets UK employer expectations. The session will guide participants step by step through the CV-writing process, using simple language and practical examples to ensure accessibility for ESOL learners. Participants will learn how to structure a CV, highlight their skills, experience, and qualifications, and use professional language to make a strong impression. The workshop includes interactive exercises, real-life job application scenarios, and a focus on common CV mistakes and how to avoid them. Templates will be provided, along with one-on-one guidance to help individuals tailor their CVs to specific job roles. In addition to CV writing, attendees will receive advice on cover letters and job applications, boosting their confidence in the job search process. By the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a polished CV and a better understanding of how to present themselves to potential employers.
