Course overview

This is a practical, down to earth course whereby we can learn how to bring mindfulness into our everyday lives. We will learn a range of techniques to put into our toolbox of life skills. This course is suitable for everyone, for those who have been on previous mindfulness courses as well as those who are new to this area.

Course description

In this 8 week course we will learn the concept and meaning of mindfulness and how this can fit into everyday living on a daily basis. We will cover a range of topics including how to Respond instead of React, to Compassion for ourselves and others and how to work with the thoughts that fill our mind. We will work too with various mindfulness meditations and look at basic mindfulness movements that can be practiced with awareness at home. Mindfulness embraces dealing with both the joys and the challenges that we all have to face and thus we will learn how to enhance and enrich our lives.
