Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.

Course overview
Course description
This course is designed for beginners who want to explore the fundamentals of painting and drawing. Leaners will develop basic techniques in sketching, shading, colour mixing, and composition. Also, understand the basics of drawing, including line, shape and perspective. You will be introduced to different drawing and painting materials and explore colour and composition for effective artwork. Through guided exercises and creative projects, learners will gain confidence in expressing themselves artistically while working with different mediums such as pencil, charcoal, watercolours, and acrylics. By the end of the course, you will have developed a personal artistic style and creative expression, as well as helping with your health and well-being, social skills and engaging with like-minded learners of the community.
