Course overview
Course description
Do you want to do something a little different from turkey sandwiches for the 12 days of Christmas? Or maybe you are looking for inspiration and something a little more interesting for your festive fayre. Ever wondered why there are so many birds in this famous song? This fun talk will give a day-by-day look at the various things “my true love gave to me” and suggest how you might use them as inspiration to make your food over the Christmas period a little more fun. Different cost options will be offered, and some recipes will be available to download from our virtual classroom, Canvas, so you can try them out yourself if you want to. Warning, there may be terrible puns involved, but feel free to bring your own awful cracker joke to share with the group. (What does Santa use to weed his garden? A hoe, hoe hoe!). This one-off session will be delivered online on Christmas day itself. It is open to all, particularly those who find the festive season a challenging, overwhelming or lonely time. Places fill fast, so sign up quickly!
