Would you like to practice your English speaking and listening? Our Gloucester conversation club provides an informal, welcoming space for adult ESOL learners to practice their English, build confidence and develop social connections. Each session will be in a friendly, relaxed safe space and led by an experienced tutor. Learners will be encouraged to use their English and gentle tasks such as using questions will be used to facilitate this. Drinks will be provided throughout and learners will be given full support to explore their next steps within the WEA.

This Pre-Entry Beginners English ESOL Conversation Class is designed for non-native speakers with little to no English proficiency. Held on Wednesday mornings in Chichester, West Sussex, the course offers a friendly and supportive environment for those beginning their English language journey. This basic course will introduce learners to the world at work and the language needed to enter it. The course has been developed in partnership with West Bromwich Job centre but is open to everyone. The course will take place at CBO (Confederation of Bangladeshi Organisations) in West Bromwich. This course is particularly suitable for students are unemployed and have been referred by Job Centres to improve their spoken and written English and thereby get closer to getting a job. This course is aimed at pre-entry ESOL learners.
