Course overview

Take your first steps towards learning how to communicate in English in a friendly and welcoming class. Please note that this class is only available for learners whose children attend Woodnook Primary School for safeguarding reasons. This is the first course of two which will help you to learn ESOL whilst your children are in class. The second course will start in term 3 and continue to the summer holidays. The course will test your English level at the start and then the tutor will work with you to improve your language skills including; speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This class is only available for learners whose children attend Woodnook Primary School for safeguarding reasons.

This entry level ESOL course is your stepping stone to effective communication.

Key focuses include:

Alphabet & Pronunciation: Master sounds and letters for clear speech.

Essential Vocabulary & Phrases: Learn greetings, introductions, and everyday words.

Listening & Speaking Skills: Understand and respond to simple conversations.

Reading & Writing Basics: Familiarize yourself with writing letters and basic words.

Building Confidence: Practice in a supportive environment. With clear explanations, visuals, and practical exercises, no prior English experience is necessary.
