Come and try your hand at calligraphy, you do not need to be an artist to enjoy modern Calligraphy. The aim of the course is to give a solid grounding exploring different aspects of this fascinating craft.
Working with easily available equipment and simple techniques.
Course description
This course offers an introduction to techniques in modern calligraphy. In the class you can develop your appreciation of letter forms and explore this very versatile craft.
This course is very practical and is suitable for all ages, left and right handers.
By the end of the term, you will be able to apply your newfound skills in practical uses such as cards messages and poetry and by the end of the course you will be working on more challenging projects. If you like stationery you will love calligraphy.
