This interactive workshop is designed for DWP customers whose first language is not English, helping them create a clear, professional CV tailored to UK job applications. Participants will learn how to highlight their skills, experience, and qualifications effectively while using simple and professional language. The session will include practical exercises, templates, and one-on-one support to build confidence in job applications. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a well-structured CV and a better understanding of how to present themselves to employers, increasing their chances of securing interviews and employment opportunities.

Welcome to the Preparing for Level 2 Food Hygiene Course! This course will cover essential topics to prepare you for Level 2 certification. You will learn about food safety practices, hygiene regulations, and how to prevent contamination. Our tutor will guide you through proper food handling, storage, and cleaning techniques. By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of food safety principles and be ready to take your knowledge to the next level. The course will be an introduction different aspects of sewing and dressmaking.

Gain essential knowledge and skills to support children’s development and well-being in a school or college setting. This course will introduce you to key areas such as child development, safeguarding practices, and the importance of diversity, equality, and inclusion in education. You will also gain insight into the daily operations of educational institutions and the variety of roles available within them. Throughout the course, your tutor will assess your learning through engaging tasks such as creating leaflets, charts, diagrams, or information boards. Once you have completed the Introduction course, you can then progress onto our Level 1 Award in Preparing To work in Schools. An introduction to the rich history of painting in Spain, which had produced some of the most important and influential artists in art history - from Baroque masters Velázquez, El Greco, and Murillo to romantic figurehead Goya and impressionist Sorolla to the vital role Spanish painters like Dalí, Picasso and Miró played in the development of 20th Century Art.

This 5 week course delves into the works of 5 street artists including Damian Ortega, Antony Gormley, Marc Quinn, Rachel Whiteread and Micheal Craig-Martin. Each week explores key art concepts including, colour and composition through sampleas of their work. You will engage in group discussions, take notes, and recall information. By the end of the course, you will be able to name significant sculptors, describe their artistic methods, sport similarities and differences among their work, deconstruct essential components of artworks, and select a preferred piece based on personal opinion.

This course will cover the changing currents of the ways in which the Visual Arts in Britain have evolved over the Twentieth Century. It will be broken into 4 parts; the pre 1914 period, the War and its aftermath, the post WW2 years and lastly the period 1980 onwards. The foci will be on changing relationships with international art, the impact of the Wars on art; and also how art maps in in relation to evolving concerns about equality and in relation to rapid urban and social change

Expand your understanding of how to create well-structured texts and polish your spelling and grammar. This is an English course for adults. It is aimed at speakers of other languages. ESOL courses are divided into three areas: reading, writing, and speaking & listening. If you’re helping others access ESOL classes in the UK, you’ve come to the right place.

This online interactive course will help you learn some of the useful vocabulary related to Driving Theory and will allow you to understand the main driving rules in the UK. You will have access to the official DVLA website to practise as well as suggested materials in Canvas (our online learning platform). One face to face session will take place on March 11th at a veue to be confirmed.
