Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.

Course description
This course will give participants an understanding of British culture, traditions and societal values. The course is for anybody that is wanting to understand what they need to do to be able to live and work in the UK. participants will learn about employment laws, workplace expectations, and job-seeking tips. It provides essential knowledge and skills for individuals new to the UK or those looking to enhance their understanding of British culture, workplaces, and daily life. Participants will explore topics such as the UK’s cultural norms, employment rights, navigating public services such as heath care, education and transport systems, and effective communication in professional and social settings. Through interactive sessions and practical activities, this course aims to help participants feel confident and empowered to thrive in the UK. Participants will also develop effective communication skills for professional and personal interactions. They will also understand financial management, including banking and budgeting in the UK. By the end of this course all participants will have built up confidence in integrating into local communities and networks..
