Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.

Course description
The 12-week course is divided into weekly lessons that focus on key grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and writing skills. Each lesson includes a mix of structured activities, conversation practice, and cultural insights, ensuring a well-rounded improvement in Spanish proficiency.

Week 1: Review of Key Concepts and Getting Started
Week 2: The Past Tense – Preterite vs. Imperfect
Week 3: Expanding Your Vocabulary: Food and Dining
Week 4: Expressing Preferences and Opinions
Week 5: Describing People and Places
Week 6: Future Tenses – Talking About Plans
Week 7: Directions and Transportation
Week 8: Health and Wellness
Week 9: Talking About the Weather
Plus other possible topics such as telling stories, recounting experiences, transactions and revision.
