Course description
In the world of our ancestors, women were viewed as second-class citizens. In a society where men made the rules and passed judgment on women who transgressed against those rules, women had a problematic status. This talk looks at the lives of women seven centuries ago and how they made their mark on the written record of history. It is a fascinating insight into our shared part.
