Discover the wonderful technique of patchwork. This course will help to develop your craft in measuring, marking and creating your own patterns for quilts and cushions.
Course description
This online course is suitable for you if you want to develop your knowledge and creative sewing skills to make or adapt your own patchwork items. Skills covered include: measuring and calculating, using squares -making patterns, cutting fabrics and using a sewing machine. You will also carry out independent research to find and share inspiration for your sewing projects. You will create at least one item of your own. We will also explore different fabrics and identify the qualities and advantages of each one. By the end of the course, you will have created some unique and beautiful items.
