Gain practical skills to improve your reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Strengthen your writing skills and learn reading techniques to help you tackle everyday situations at work or while studying. This adult English course helps you develop your language skills through real-life situations. What we’ll cover ● Ask concise questions using specific vocabulary and appropriate language. ● Contribute to group discussions about a range of topics and interact with other people, give your opinion and ask them questions. ● Read a variety of different texts in different ways, for example skimming, scanning and detailed reading. ● Expand and improve your understanding of grammatical and punctuation. ● Learn to communicate your ideas clearly in writing and use a logical structure. ● Use appropriate format and structure in written texts. Entry 3 functional skills English courses teach you essential English skills for employment and learning. They are made by adults, for adults. When you finish the get ready for entry 3 functional skills English course, you will have assessments in three areas. They are: Speaking, listening, and communicating, Reading, and Writing. After, you can progress to the accredited entry Level 3 functional Skills qualification. Before you can enrol on this course, you’ll need to do a skills check. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam.
