This is a practical art course where you will explore a range of art materials to create personal drawings and paintings. Grab your sketch pad, pencils or charcoal and join this friendly art class, where you'll learn basic techniques. You don't have to be an accomplished artist to join this group, this class is for everyone regardless of ability. Your tutor will explain different art techniques and give you the encouragement you need to find your inner artist.

This is a new ESOL course aimed for beginner ESOL learners, offering them a friendly and safe online environment to practise speaking and listening in English in order to gain more confidence in their day to day lives. The course offers a virtual 'conversation cafe' where learners are taught by an experience qualified tutor who will guide them and help them build their English skills. The course is on Tuesday and Friday 9.30am - 12pm. This is a place where learners can make mistakes and work together to improve their English language skills at whatever pace they need.

The Art of Ukraine traces Ukrainian art history within the historical and political contexts of the country, starting from the golden age of Kyvian Rus’, its role within the Russian Empire, and then as a Soviet Socialist Republic part of the USSR until its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Since the Russian invasion in February 2022 an interest in knowing about Ukrainian art has grown, with Ukrainian art historians, critics, and curators raising the profile of Ukrainian art, artists, and art movements to keep alive the history of Ukrainian Art as distinct from the history of Russian Art.

Are you looking to improve your understanding of what is required to undertake an IELTS exam to help with your work or study, then this course is for you. The exam is designed to help people who want to study or work where English is the native language (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand). This is an introductory course in preparation for the exam. You can progress to other IELTS courses in that you may be interested in taking to make further progress.

This beginner to pre-intermediate course will help you to communicate basic ideas in English on a range of everyday topics. You will practise reading, writing, speaking and listening, with a focus on conversation skills. You will also learn new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and start to learn about basic English grammar. You will work with other learners at a similar level and be expected to take part in pair and group activities in the classroom. If you have little to no experience speaking and learning English - this is the course for you. We have an experienced and professional tutor who will offer you the guidance, support and practice needed to improve your English language ability. The classes will be relaxed, informal and friendly - a safe space to meet new people and learn new skills. You will also learn new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and start to learn about basic English grammar, including present, future and past tenses as well as present perfect. You will work with other learners at a similar level and be expected to take part in pair and group activities in the classroom. This course is ideal for English Language learners with some level of confidence and experience in speaking and understanding English. You will be in a mixed group of intermediate to advanced learners and will have the opportunity to practice your English in a number of different situations.
