WEA have an exciting opportunity for a project coordinator. The post holder will work closely with a range of stakeholders including partners, community organisations, students and volunteers. The role will be expected to represent the WEA and promote both the Association and the value of adult education in relevant contexts.

With the support of nearly 3,000 volunteers, 2,000 tutors and over 10,000 members, we deliver friendly, accessible and enjoyable courses for adults from all walks of life. Assessed ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2018, we have classes in almost every area of England and Scotland.
The post-holder will be responsible for all aspects of WEA delivery within the Painting Fabrics project in the Yorkshire & Humber region.
WEA Yorkshire & Humber Region is seeking to recruit a project coordinator to join an ambitious team to deliver the Painting Fabrics project. The post holder will have experience of arts based projects and working with people with mental health difficulties and service users; also supporting volunteers in mental health settings.
We offer generous terms and conditions including 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and pension scheme – subject to eligibility. Please note holiday entitlement, including bank holidays is pro rata for part time posts.
